The Institute of Biomedical Scientists (IBMS) - Congress 2015
Following on from our successful attendance at EuroLabFocus in October 2014, Viapath are this year exhibiting at the IBMS Congress in Birmingham.
About Congress
IBMS is the professional body for those who work in the field of biomedical science, representing around 19,000 professionals in the UK and Ireland, including many Viapath employees.
This year's conference is focused on meeting the demands of an ever stretched health service, ensuring that members are equipped with accurate and up to date information on the latest techniques and best practices.
With the NHS seeing one million patients every 36 hours, and with 70% of all diagnoses involving some form of pathology investigation,
the scope of what biomedical scientists do has never been greater.

Viapath at Congress
As well as our exhibiting at Congress, a number of our employees will also be presenting their work.
As at EuroLabFocus last year, Focus this year and many other scientific meetings and conferences, a number of Viapath employees will be presenting their scientific projects in poster format. Keep an eye out for posters displaying the Viapath logo!

In addition to the above, David Wells our Director of Operations for Reference Pathology for Guy's, St. Thomas' and King's, will be a research paper judge for Clinical Chemistry on Monday 28 September and Dr Guy Orchard will chair the Cellular Pathology research paper session on Tuesday 29 September.
