UKAS Accreditation
Accreditation of pathology services following transfer to our new hub laboratory
Blood Sciences tests carried out at our hub laboratory in Blackfriars, London, were successfully granted UKAS accreditation to ISO 15189:2022 on 14 April. This is with the exception of a small number of tests listed below, which are being reviewed as part of the next phase.
This milestone reflects our continued commitment to achieving the highest testing standards within all our laboratories.
Blood Sciences tests not accredited at the hub
All other testing undertaken in our new hub laboratory is temporarily unaccredited while UKAS undertakes the checks and assurances required to confirm that hub arrangements are operating in accordance with ISO15189. This is perfectly normal when services transfer to a new setting and we are well underway with the reaccreditation process, which takes several months.
Please be assured that we continue to apply Synnovis quality processes for all tests - both for accredited tests and those under review - to ensure a high standard of quality is maintained. This includes rigorous in-house verification testing and internal quality control.
