Allergen Specific IgE (Phadia Immunocap)

Atopic disease is common in the UK and has a variety of clinical presentations. The following is a list of the more frequently encountered conditions: food allergy, atopic eczema, asthma, seasonal rhinitis and conjunctivitis, perennial rhinitis and conjunctivitis, bee and wasp venom anaphylaxis and latex allergy.

The identification of the allergen or allergens responsible for the disease manifestation is an essential part of diagnosis and management of allergic disease.

Specific IgE Investigations are available for individual as well as a mix of related allergens. Specific IgE antibodies to allergen components are available by prior arrangement.
