For monitoring patients with known inherited metabolic disease, specifically homocystinuria.

Bloodspot card. Two spots > 7mm in diameter. Blood must be soaked through & not multi-spotted.

Please include the clinical details with the request form for appropriate interpretation of results. Samples should be received into the laboratory within 14 days of collection. Any samples which are received >14 days of collection will be rejected.
