Update: Unite strike activity stood down 16 - 17 December 2024

Unite the union have agreed to stand down the industrial action planned for Monday 16 December and Tuesday 17 December following positive discussions with Synnovis and our Trust partners today.
 
This is an evolving situation and discussion with the Unite negotiating team is very much ongoing regarding the strike action planned for Wednesday 18 December - Friday 20 December.

Synnovis continues to explore every avenue of resolution, including the involvement of ACAS. 

We remain grateful for the dedication of colleagues who will be continuing to provide care and essential pathology testing services during the strikes. We recognise the impact these strikes will have on patients, service users and partners, and apologise to everyone affected.
