Reference Services
The Reference Services Division is comprised of multiple laboratories involved in specialised or complex analysis, expert consultation, and confirmation of difficult diagnoses.
The services cover a variety of specialisms, including paediatric and adult metabolic investigations, donor/recipient organ transplantation compatibility, toxicology/trace elements analysis, nutritional assessment, R&D, therapeutic drug monitoring and immunology.
These services are a crucial resource for clinicians, providing targeted analysis using a variety of advanced techniques.
Many of our laboratories support other hospitals and community health units across the country.
