Vanessa Fulkes

Vanessa Fulkes is a qualified nurse who has been a blood transfusion practitioner since 2001 and joined the Trust in 2004.  She is part of the clinical transfusion team and manages a team of two blood transfusion practitioners, a transfusion administrator and a traceability officer. She leads on promoting safe and appropriate blood transfusion practice across the Trust, including policy, training, audit, incident investigation, practice development and the promotion of patient blood management.
