Special Haematology Department

The Special Haematology Department is the largest service in the South East, encompassing haematological malignancies, transplantation, red cell disorders, transfusion medicine and coagulation.

We have an extensive referrals base encompassing not only London and England but nationwide and international. First class diagnostic and research laboratories enable us to provide an exceptional service, hand in hand with our clinical colleagues.

We are recognised as a centre of excellence for haematological malignancies, including myelodysplastic syndrome, acute myeloid leukaemia, chronic myeloid leukaemia and lymphoma. We also run one of the largest haemoglobinopathy services in the UK.
